AMEC drill down

Aberdeen was the venue for AMEC’s leadership development forum and Jon focused on engagement, values and change management as his key themes. Penguins on melting icebergs also featured! Great day, great location, great company.

Babcock brilliance

Working with the members of Babcock International’s London Fire Brigade training team, Jon delivered an address to their annual conference in London focusing on customer and leadership excellence. He did not have to rescued.

Only at the Berkeley

As one of London’s, and possibly the world’s, finest luxury hotels, The Berkeley defines ‘Exquisite Innovation’. Jon worked with the hotel’s leadership team for a 2-day workshop ‘off-site’ focusing on leadership excellence. A really fabulous group of people.

Credit where credit is due

Atradius is one of the world’s largest credit insurers and Jon worked with members of the European leadership team  at the fabulous offices of Inch & Co in the City of London (directly overlooking Tower Bridge and the Tower of London). Spectacular view, spectacular people.

Should’ve Gone To…

30 years ago Specsavers was founded and today the UK retail environment would be very strange without what has become a sensational business success. Jon has been working with the Specsavers Optometry team to develop further customer / patient engagement skills.

Cunningham Lindsey United

International loss adjusters Cunningham Lindsey hired Jon for their leadership meeting in the dreamy environment of Manchester United’s Old Trafford football ground. The workshop was on the subject of inspiring leadership engagement and delivery of exceptional customer service. What’s more, it came on the day after the terrible storm and flooding led to a number of significant issues requiring immediate responses from members of the team. A very valuable lesson in disaster response!

Step Forward with Clarks

Clarks’ UK retail team hired Jon to deliver a session with the title ‘Great Conversations’ in the fabulous surroundings of Bristol Zoo. One or two uplifting video clips helped to set the scene whilst a further focus on delivery of authentic and personal discussion was very well received.

Anchored in Bradford

Terrific session with the Anchor team in Bradford at their Finance Team development day. Anchor’s refreshingly open and authentically thoughtful and caring approach to their care home operations is a real credit to them and their finance team seemed to enormously enjoy the ‘Be the Best That You Can Be’ session provided by Jon.

Bowled Over!

The Original Bowling Company asked Jon to present an afternoon workshop on leadership & customer service excellence at their recent management conference in Luton. An enormously enthusiastic team of 60 bowling centre managers much enjoyed the experience with Melanie Dickinson, Talent Director for TOBC commenting “the feedback has been incredibly positive and everyone who attended gave a commitment to put one or more of your ‘tools’ into practice. I am looking forward to seeing lots of TNT areas in our centres!”.

No rain in Spain

Accountancy software specialists Sage held their European Leader Conference in Spain at the beginning of October and Jon was asked to deliver a 3 hour leadership development workshop on the themes of engagement and accelerating growth. The event was splendidly organised, even as far as laying on 30 degree temperature and blue skies throughout. Laure Pourageaud, Chief People Officer for Sage Europe said “the event more than fulfilled my expectations and what you presented for us is one of the major reasons for that!
